Easy Zit Zapper

Winter can sometimes wreak havoc on my skin—from dry skin to my body overcompensating by creating more oil at random times, it’s hard to maintain nice, clear skin in the winter.  Thankfully, I’ve been clued in to this great moisturizing, anti-fungal and antibacterial zit zapper recipe. Both coconut oil and tea tree oil are anti-fungal, antibacterial powerhouses, and the coconut oil moisturizes your irritated skin and relieves inflammation as well. Try it out, I promise you’ll love it! Ingredients 1/4 cup coconut oil 10 drops of tea tree oil (for every 1/4 cup of coconut oil) Push up tube (an old lip balm tube will work as well) Melt the 1/4 cup of coconut oil in a double boiler. Once the coconut oil is melted, stir in the tea tree oil and turn off the heat. Pour melted mixture into your container and set aside to cool. Once the zit zapper has solidified, close the container and store in a cool, dry place. When you have a zit, wash your face first, then apply the zit zapper onto clean skin.
